Puzzle’s famous “breaded salmon in za’atar with melted brie and roasted peppers” recipe is no ordinary Salmon recipe…Nir and Guy have added their special touch to make this a unique dish, which represents Puzzle Israel’s finest culinary fortes! Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 lbs. salmon fillet, cubed (2×2 inches), skin-on
1 cup za’atar mix
1/2 cup olive oil
2 red peppers, chopped
1/2 lb. Brie cheese, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tsp. sea salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
Preheat oven to 450°F.
In a small bowl, combine the za’atar mix, salt, and pepper.
Generously coat the salmon cubes with the mixture.
Heat olive oil in frying pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the salmon cubes (skin side down) for five minutes.
Remove the salmon cubes from the pan onto a lined baking sheet.
On a separate baking sheet, place the peppers and cover with 2 tbsp. of olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Roast for 10 minutes.
Place 1-2 pieces of Brie on each of the salmon cubes.
Cook salmon cubes in oven for 15 minutes.
Garnish with roasted peppers. Serve warm
