Discover Timna Park

Did you know that one of the most beautiful parks in the world can be found in Israel? Timna Park is located about 17 miles north of Eilat and boasts a combination of unbelievable history, antiquities, and activities, all contained in a horse-shaped valley that covers 15,000 acres. In the center, it is about 1500 feet above sea level.

This is also a mining area, with a plethora of minerals, copper, iron and manganese in the rich land. Here, you’ll discover the world’s first copper mine, which will reveal stories harking back as far as Egyptian times – this land is a true goldmine of stories, history, archeology, and more.

 

Visit Ben Gurion’s Grave and Sde Boker

Sde Boker is a kibbutz located in the Negev Desert. It’s famous as the spot of the retirement home of Israel’s first prime minister, David Ben Gurion. Here, we’ll take you on a bike tour of this beautiful kibbutz, which today houses just under 500 people. Visit Ben Gurion’s grave, and learn the history and stories of a pioneer who is known as the architect that has shaped modern Israel.

 

Stargazing in the Ramon Crater at Mizpe Ramon

Enjoy a special activity – go exploring the crater at night. A stargazing specialist will take you on a special adventure in the desert and together you will learn about the stars using a telescope. Look up and notice how visible the stars are when it’s pitch black outside and your cozy and warm around the bonfire.

 

Sandboarding Experience

Enjoy a fun sandboarding experience in the Negev sand dunes – you will be surfing over virgin sands that come all the way from the distant deserts of Africa to us. You can surf in a variety of ways – sitting, laying, backward and in a half-stand…and even in pairs!
